Antimicrobial Resistance: Management, Prevention and Therapeutic Strategies
Wayne State University School of Medicine presents a one day conference to be held in the Auditorium of Wayne State University's Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
There is an urgency to reduce the emergence and control the spread of antimicrobial resistance. This can be achieved through antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention and collaborations with public health. This regional program will provide current data and strategies that can be implemented by healthcare and public health officials.
This program is designed for Physicians, Infectious Disease Specialists, Infection Preventionists, Pharmacists, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners and Allied Health Professionals.
The Wayne State University School of Medicine designated this live activity for a maximum of 7.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
The State of Michigan Licensing Board of Nursing accepts medical CME's as credit for nursing CEU's for license renewal.
The Detroit Medical Center Department of Pharmacy Services is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Full attendance at this program and completion of the program evaluation and learning assessment will provide 6.75 contact hours of pharmacy continuing education. A Statement of Continuing Pharmacy Education Credit will be provided by (mail etc) to all successful participants within 60 days of the program.
